GTTI is the only institute in India which has signed an MoU with AHK, Berlin to offer German Dual System of training along with vocational courses offered by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT).

GTTI is the one and only institute in India, which teaches German Language, up to B1 level,as part of their curriculum, in the same campus, so that the students can do their German Diploma conducted by AHK, Berlin, in Tool & Die Engineering and Mechatronics after their NCVT qualification in the respective fields. This enables them to find further employment in industries abroad especially Germany.

The institute has the State of the Art Latest Machinery, Equipments, Teaching Aids and Software to enable better learning.

The institute is equipped with high end machines such as CNC Milling (BFW, Makino, HAAS), CNC Turning (Gedee Weiler), Mitutoyo CMM, Festo MPS Stations and Mitsubishi Robots etc. The students are trained in every relevant equipment for specific hours so that when they go to the industry they are familiar with the operation of machines.

The students are taught computer basics, AutoCAD, CAD / CAM Technology and softwares such as Creo, CATIA etc., as part of their curriculum.

The syllabus is updated on a timely basis with inputs from industry experts based on the requirements of the industries.

The institute arranges industrial training for each student in well-known industries across India.

The institute also focusses on the communication skills and soft skills of the students so that they can conquer greater heights in the career.

Much focus is given on perfection and quality at every level so that the student feels a sense of pride in his workmanship and will carry forward the same to the industry.

In the 1st year, students are encouraged to make simple projects. While in second year they are also required to do hobby (mini) projects such as sterling engines, drilling machine vices, electronic devices, etc. In the final semester they will be undergoing in-plant training at relevant companies where they get industry exposure. The students undertake live projects in groups where they are required to design the project, procure materials, do costing for raw material and machining / assembling. After completion, it is evaluated by an external Board of Examiners through Viva- voce and marks are awarded.

Placements

At the end of every year the institution arranges a placement drive for the final year students of every course. Many prominent MNCs and companies of repute participate in this placement drive, to recruit students as Industrial Trainees with a monthly stipend. The students are later absorbed by the company as permanent employees after one year. There is always a short supply of candidates and the institute allocates to the companies according to their needs.

Students who wish to study further can register for the German AHK ‘A’ Level certificate for Tool Making and Mechatronics skill. After the completion of this two-year course, the students become eligible to apply for placements in companies in Europe and other countries.

Many students are successfully employed in India and abroad . Because of the quality training received in GTTI, in about 3 – 4 years, they may even rise to the positions as Manager of a Division / Unit / Project.

Career Opportunities in Germany

With the increasing shortage of qualified professionals in Germany, more and more Germany-based employers are now interested in hiring non-EU candidates for their technical and professional prowess. Indian professionals today form the largest group of EU Blue Card holders in Germany. As part of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Pro Recognition has tied up with the institute to provide guidance for students who are looking for employment in Germany. The students who have completed the German AHK ‘A’ Level certificate course,  after their NCVT Certificate course, in the respective skills in GTTI are eligible to apply for a job in Germany.

The institute further supports the aspiring students by offering German language up to ‘B’ level as part of their curriculum conducted by the Goethe Zentrum, Coimbatore.
